School Names

Hey guys! So tomorrow is the first day of school for me. I start my senior year. I still can’t believe how fast time has flown. Anyway I had to name post about it! So I have some school inspired names for you. Let’s get started.

Boys
  1. Nicholas- Nicholas Jacques Conte was the man who invented the pencil. I bet you didn’t know that! (I didn’t either until I did this post). Nicholas means victory of the people in Greek.
  2. Booker- Booker T. Washington was a teacher. Booker means bleacher in English.
  3. Randy- Randy Pausch was a great teacher. Randy is an English diminutive of Randall, which means shield wolf.
  4. Griffin- Andy Griffin was a high school English teacher before he became famous. Griffin means from Gryphon- a fabled monster in Welsh.
  5. George- George Shillibeer was the inventor of the school bus. George means farmer in Greek.

Girls
  1. Anne- Anne Sullivan was Helen Keller’s teacher. Anne means gracious, merciful in Hebrew.
  2. Clara- Calra Barton was an educator. Clara means illustrious in Latin.
  3. Maya- Maya Angelou was a teacher. Maya is a form of May or Maia in English.
  4. Lyndon- Lyndon B Johnson was a teacher before he became president. Who know! Lyndon means from the flax hill in English.
  5. Alice- Alice Stead Binney was the inventor of Crayola. Alice means of a noble kin in English.

  2. My boy has joined the school recently, Griffin is the name we have selected for him. Still searching for the better name.
