Newbies in 2015

Last year when the top 1000 list came out I went and looked for all of the names that had never been on the top 1000 list before 2014. I did the same thing this year and its so fun to see all of the different names. Some of the names on the list are names I have heard of before they just haven't been ranked while other names are brand new to me.

The one thing I noticed was the name Briar is on both the girl and boy list and it is also the first year even that it is ranked. What are the odds! Another thing I picked up on was there are less names on the newbie list this year than there were last year.
