Hey guys! So today is the start of Hanukkah! I don’t
celebrate Hanukkah but I do know people who do. I thought it would be nice to
do a post on it. So let’s get started.
Girls
- Norah- This name comes from menorah. Norah means honor in English.
- Ninette- This is because there are nine candles on the menorah. Ninette means grace; favour in Hebrew and French.
- Lenorah- This rhymes with menorah. Lenorah means light in Greek. It also goes with Hanukkah because it means light and you light candles on Hanukkah!
- Laila- This is on the list because it means night in Hebrew.
- Meora- This is on the list because it means light in Hebrew.
Boys
- Leor- This is on the list because it means my light in Hebrew.
- Judah- This is for Judah Maccabee. Judah means praised in Hebrew.
- Blaize- This is on the list because of the candles. Blaize means lisp, stutter in French and Latin.
- Eron- This name is on the list because it means peace, enlightened in Hebrew.
- Uriel- This is on the list because it means God is my light in Hebrew.
So that’s my post. I had fun doing this because I got to
learn a little more about Hanukkah. I am sorry this is late in the day but my
life is beyond busy and I barely have time to post. I will make time don’t
worry haha. I hope you liked this and don’t forget to comment. Bye for now :).
