Hey guys! So I have another installment in the top debut series for you. Today I am doing 1984-1988. I just realized we are getting so close to the end! I’m not sure if I am excited or if I am sad. Anyway, let’s get started.

Eldra- This was the top debut for boys in 1984 and was given to 17 babies. I wasn’t able to find the meaning of Eldra but I was about to find a American Football player by the name of Eldra Buckley. He’s a running back who played for the San Diego Chargers back in 2007. He was from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He also played for the Philadelphia Eagles and the Detriot Lions. In 2011, no babies were named Eldra.

Cordero- This was the top debut for boys in 1986 and was given to 173 babies. Cordero means lamb in Spanish. In 2011, 32 babies were given this name.

1987

Teyon- This was the top debut for boys in 1987 and was given to 25 babies. I couldn’t find the meaning of Teyon. In 2011, 6 babies were given this name.

1988
Jalesa- This was the top debut for girls in 1988 and was given to 77 babies. Jalesa is a variant of Jalisa. In 2011, 7 babies were given this name.
Kadeem- This was the top debut for boys in 1988 and was given to 52 babies. Kadeem means servant in Arabic. In 2011, 27 babies were given this name.

So that is today’s post. I am thinking of doing just 5 years in each post, at least for this week I am. It is easier and then when I go to do the tabs it is least names for me to have to do. I usually do the tabs on Saturday or Sunday because most of the time I don’t have time during the week. I hope you liked this and don’t forget to comment. Bye for now :)

  1. LOLOL two of those names I remember from reruns of a Different World. Jaleesa was a character played by Dawnn Lewis (I looked up the actresses name) and Kadeem Hardison played my first crush Dwayne Wayne. HAHA
