MLB Series: Washington Nationals

Hey guys! I am here to do the last installment in the MLB series! I can’t believe I have finished the series. I am kind of sad because this was such a fun series but now I am on to the next one. So the last team is…….. the Washington Nationals. So let’s get started.

1. Kurt- This name is for Kurt Suzuki. He is number 24, a catcher, and 29 years old. Kurt means courteous in American. I think Kurt is a short and sweet name that would make a nice middle name.
2. Gio- This name is for Gio Gonzalez. He is number 47, a pitcher, and 27 years old. Gio is an Italian name but I don’t know the meaning. I like Gio but it does sound a little close to Gia.
3. Roger- This name is for Roger Bernadina. He is number 2, an outfielder, and 28 years old. Roger means famous spear in English. I really like the name Roger even if it does sound a little old.
4. Sean- This name is for Sean Burnett. He is number 17, a pitcher, and 30 years old. Sean means god is gracious in Celtic. I like Sean and have a cousin named Sean.
5. Bryce- This name is for Bryce Harper. He is number 34, an outfielder, and 20 years old. Bryce means speckled in English. I have really been liking Bryce and I also like it on a girl.

Girls

1. Harper- This name is for Bryce Harper. He is number 34, an outfielder, and 20 years old. Harper means harp player in English. I think Harper is a spunky name and I really love it.
2. Bernadina- This name is for Roger Bernadina. He is number 2, an outfielder, and 28 years old. Bernadina means strong, brave bear in French and German. I think Bernadina is a nice alternative to Bernadette and I like the nickname Dina.

MLB Series: Toronto Blue Jays

Hey guys! So today I have the next installment in the MLB Series! This time it is the Toronto Blue Jays. I only have 1 more left after this one!!!! So let’s get started.

Boys

1. Henderson- This name is for Henderson Alvarez. He is number 37, a pitcher, and 22 years old. Henderson means son of Henry in English. I really like this name but I don’t like the nickname Henry. I can really see this name being used more.
2. Chad- This name is for Chad Jenkins. He is number 64, a pitcher, and 25 years old. Chad means from the warriors town in English. When I hear the name Chad I think of the 90’s. I still think it is a nice name and one you don’t hear very often.
3. Darren- This name is for Darren Oliver. He is number 38, a pitcher, and 42 years old. Darren has an unknown meaning but is American. I think Darren is a cute name that isn’t too common but it’s too out there.
4. Yan- This name is for Yan Gomes. He is number 68, an infielder, and 25 years old. Yan means pretty colors/Swallow bird in Chinese. I think Yan is such a short and sweet name. It is nice.
5. Lyon- This name is for Brandon Lyon. He is number 31, a pitcher, and 33 years old. Lyon means lion in French. I love this name for a couple of reasons. One is it has a ly in it and two is because it sounds so cool.

Girls

1. Colby- This name is for Colby Rasmus. He is number 28, an outfielder, and 26 years old. Colby means from Koli’s farm in English. I love the name Colby on a girl but maybe spelled with a k.
2. Sierra- This name is for Moises Sierra. He is number 14, an outfielder, and 24 years old. Sierra means mountain in Spanish. I really like the name Sierra but don’t hear it very often.

MLB Series: Texas Rangers

Hey guys! So I have another post in the MLB series. This time it is the Texas Rangers. So let’s get started.

Boys

1. Tanner- This name is for Tanner Scheppers. He is number 52, a pitcher, and 25 years old. Tanner means leather worker in German. I really like the name Tanner and use to love it on a girl.
2. Alberto- This name is for Alberto Gonzalez. He is number 14, an infielder, and 29 years old. Alberto means noble and bright in Spanish. I really like Alberto but it makes me think of a grandpa.
3. Ian- This name is for Ian Kinsler. He is number 5, an infielder, and 30 years old. Ian means God is gracious in Scottish. I never liked the name Ian but it has been growing on to me lately and I think that is because of Ian from Big Brother.
4. Adrian- This name is for Adrian Beltre. He is number 29, an infielder, and 33 years old. Adrian means person from Hadria (Northern Italy). This is another name that I have never really liked but it is growing on me lately.
5. Kirkman- This name is for Michael Kirkman. He is number 50, a pitcher, and 26 years old. I couldn’t find the meaning of Kirkman. I kind of like this name with the nickname Kirk.

Girls

1. Gentry- This name is for Craig Gentry. He is number 23, an outfielder, and 29 years old. Gentry mean nobility of birth in English. I think Gentry is a great alternative or way to honor someone named Jennifer.
2. Moreland- This name is for Mitch Moreland. He is number 18, an infielder, and 27 years old. Moreland means moor-land in English. Moor means large, rolling expanse of swampy, infertile and wide land. I really like this name with the nickname Mo or Morry. It could even be used as a boy name.

Hey Guys! I’m back with another blog post in the MLB series. Today I am doing the Tampa Bay Rays. Right now I am away seeing a college but I had this post set to come out while I was gone. So lets get started.

1. Burke- This name is for Burke Badenhop. He is number 31, a pitcher, and 29 years old. Burke means from the fortress in French. I love the name Burke. I know a few other people are liking the name Burke also.
2. Price- This name is for David Price. He is number 14, a pitcher, and 27 years old. Price means prize in French. I really like the name Price on a boy. It sounds so much like the name Bryce.
3. Elliot- This name is for Elliot Johnson. He is number 9, an infielder, and 28 years old. Elliot means the Lord is my God in English. I really like the name Elliot but spelled Elliott. I also like it on a girl.
4. Davis- This name is for Wade Davis. He is number 40, a pitcher, and 27 years old. Davis means son of David in English. I know some people like this name but I could never see it as a first name because I have relatives with this as a last name.
5. Rodney- This name is for Fernando Rodney. He is number 53, a pitcher, and 35 years old. Rodney means from the island in the swift river in English. I really like the name Rodney but it makes me think of The Diary of a Wimpy Kid books.

Girls

1. Joyce- This name is for Matt Joyce. He is number 20, an outfielder, and 28 years old. Joyce means little Lord in English. I love the Name Joyce with the nickname Joy. It is such a cute and sweet name.
2. McGee- This name is for Jake McGee. He is number 57, a pitcher, and 26 years old. McGee means Son of Hugh in Irish. I really like Mc/Mac- names on girls and this one fits in the category.

2. Skip- This name is for Skip Schumaker. He is number 55, an infielder, and 32 years old. Skip means skipper, sea captain in American. I think Skip would make a cute nickname and I have been loving sea names lately.
3. Barret- This name is for Barret Browning. He is number 62, a pitcher, and 28 years old. Barret means trader in English. I love the name Barret but prefer it spelled Barrett.
4. Yadier- This name is for Yadier Molina. He is number 4, a catcher, and 30 years old. Yadier means friend, companion in Hebrew. I’m not sure how much I like this name. It is a cute name though.
5. Mitchell- This name is for Mitchell Boggs. He is number 41, a pitcher, and 28 years old. Mitchell means Who is like God? In American. I like Mitchell but to me it is a little dated.

1. Molina- This name is for Yadier Molina. He is number 4, a catcher, and 30 years old. Molina means the tree that grows from the root in Indian. I love This name because you can use the nickname Mo and it sounds girly.
2. Motte- This name is for Jason Motte. He is number 30, a pitcher, and 30 years old.I couldn’t find the meaning or origin of Motte. I like this name and think it could fit in because it sounds like Lotte or Charlotte.

MLB Series: Seattle Mariners

Hey Guys. Today I have the next installment of the MLB series. Today is the Seattle Mariners. So let’s get started.

1. Trayvon- This name is for Trayvon Robinson. He is number 12, an outfielder, and 25 years old. Trayvon is a American name but I couldn’t find the meaning. I like Trayvon with the nickname Tray. It’s cute.
2. Chone- This name is for Chone Figgins. He is number 9, an infielder, and 34 years old. I couldn’t find the meaning or origin of this name. I have never heard of the name Chone before and I think it is kind of cool.
3. Casper- This name is for Casper Wells. He is number 33, an outfielder, and 28 years old. Casper means treasurer in German. I love the name Casper but I think that people think of the ghost too much.
4. Olivo- This name is for Miguel Olivo. He is number 30, a catcher, and 34 years old. Olivo means olive tree in Latin. I really like this because it is a nice change to Oliver.
5. Wilhelmsen- This name is for Tom Wilhelmsen. He is number 54, a pitcher, and 29 years old. I couldn’t find the meaning or origin. I like this name but just relized it may be a mouthful. What do you think?

1. Kinney- This name is for Josh Kinney. He is number 53, a pitcher, and 33 years old. Kinny is a variant of the name Kenny. I like this name. it is kind of like Kinsley or Kinley but a fresh new name.
2. Seager- This name is for Kyle Seager. He is number 15, an infielder, and 25 years old. Seager means sea fighter in English. I really like this name as a guilty pleasure name and Sea is a great nickname.
3. Beavan- This name is for Blake Beavan. He is number 49, a pitcher, and 23 years old. Beavan means son of Evan in Welsh. I really like this name with the nickname Bea. It would be a great name with a tomboy edge to it.

Unisex

1. Ackley- This name is for Dustin Ackley. He is number 13, an infielder, and 24 years old. Ackley means Oak Meadow in English. I put this name in the unisex spot because I can see it on both a girl and a boy and couldn’t pick which gender I liked it on more. I think it is a cute name.

Hey guys! I’m back with the next installment of the MLB series. I only have 6 more after this one. Today’s team is the San Francisco Giants. So let’s get started.

1. Buster- This name is for Buster Posey. He is number 28, a catcher, and 25 years old. Buster means tough guy in American. I `like Buster on a dog but I think it would be cute on a little boy.
2. Zito- This name is for Barry Zito. He is number 75, a pitcher, and 34 years old. Zito is French but I couldn’t find the meaning of it. I really like Zito. It is a great alternative to Tito.
3. Marco- This name is for Marco Scutaro. He is number 19, an infielder, and 37 years old. Marco means warlike in Italian. To me Marco is very strong and manly. I can see this name in all ages.
4. Melky- This name is for Melky Cabrera. He is number 53, an outfielder, and 28 years old. Melky means his kingdom, his counselor in Hebrew. I really like this name. It would be a guilty pleasure name for me.
5. Gregor- This name is for Gregor Blanco. He is number 7, an outfielder, and 29 years old. Gregor means vigilant, a watchman in Scottish. I love Gregor. I also like McGregor and Gregory. The only thing I don’t like is the nickname Greg.
6. Romo- This name is for Sergio Romo. He is number 54, a pitcher, and 29 years old. I couldn’t find a meaning or origin for this name. I think everyone thinks of Tony Romo when they heard of this name. I think if people can get over that than it would be a great name.

Girls

1. Hensley- This name is for Clay Hensley. He is number 34, a pitcher, and 33 years old. Hensley means one who is ambitious in English. I love this name. It is so cute and I think it goes with the rest of the names like Kensley, and Kinley.
2. Pagan- This name is for Angel Pagan. He is number 16, an outfielder, and 31 years old. Pagan means country dweller. I think this name could go with other names like Megan. I think it’s cute.
3. Penny- This name is for Brad Penny. He is number 31, a pitcher, and 34 years old. Penny means weaver in English. I think of Penny from the Big Bang Theory when I hear this name. I still like it and I have it as a middle name for Jubilee, Jubilee Penny.

EDIT: I was just watching NY Med and as the credits were going by I saw the name Pagan!I was so excited that I went and google the name to see if it was a girl or a boy and it turns out it was a girl! Hey guys! So I am back with the next installment of the MLB series. This time I will be doing the San Diego Padres. Let’s get started.

1. Everth- This name is for Everth Cabera. He is number 2, an infielder, and 26 years old. I couldn’t find information on this name. I like Everth because it is cool and different. I kind of like it more than Everett.
2. Huston- This name is for Huston Street. He is number 16, a pitcher, and 29 years old. Huston means Hugh’s town, settlement on the hill in Irish. I like Huston because of the ston part. I like it better than Hudson.
3. Edinson- This name is for Edinson Volques. He is number 37, a pitcher, and 29 years old. I couldn’t find the meaning of Edinson. I think Edinson could go with the other popular names.
4. Yonder- This name is for Yonder Alonso. He is number 23, an infielder, and 25 years old. I couldn’t find the meaning of Yonder. I like Yonder but I think it could be confused for younger.
5. Kip- This name is for Kip Wells. He is number 60, a pitcher, and 35 years old. Kip means pointed hill in English. I really like Kip. It is kind of old fashioned and could come back.
6. Dale- This name is for Dale Thayer. He is number 55, a pitcher, and 32 years old. DFale means valley in English. I’m okay with Dale. It isn’t my favorite though.

1. Headley- This name is for Chase Headley. He is number 7, an infielder, and 28 years old. Headley means heathered meadow in English. I was watching sportscenter the over day and they were talking about this guy. I though “Hey Headley could be a cute girl name!”.
2. Maybin- This name is for Cameron Maybin. He is number 24, an outfielder, and 25 years old. I couldn’t find the meaning of this name. I have a girl in my class with the last name Mabin and think it is a really cute name.

MLB Series: Pittsburgh Pirates And A Update and A Contest

Hey Guys! I’m back with another baby name blog. But before we get to that let’s talk about my new blog! I have just spent the last 3 days making, designing and researching all to come up with this new look. I am so in love with it (I better be! It did take me 3 days!). If you are wondering what those two names are up in my header, they are my favorite names for boy and girl. I have also added and taken away a few things. I have added a new about me, that I will be adding to later and now you can follow me by email. I have also made me blog buttons scroll in the bottom of the page, so now I can add all the buttons I want. Another thing that is new is my blog button. If you have a blog and would like to add it to your stash (or you want to start one) I would love that. Some things that are missing are my name typography, and two of my little blinkies. They are not that big but if you would like them just ask. I also have a new idea that I will leave details below for. Now let’s get onto the blog post. I have the next installment of the MLB series. 2. Joel- This name is for Joel Hanrahan. He is number 52, a pitcher, and 31 years old. Joel means God will be willing in Hebrew. I have really been liking this name lately. It makes me think of Joel from Jon and Kate Plus 8 but that may have to do with the fact that I am reading their book right now.
3. Clint- This name is for Clint Barmes. He is number 12, an infielder, and 33 years old. Clint means town on a hill in English. I really like Clint, although it sounds like an old man.
4. Neil- This name is for Neil Walkers. He is number 18, an infielder, and 30 years old. Neil is a Scandinavian name that means champion. When I was growing up I know a guy named Neil and really liked it.
5. Casey- This name is for Casey McGehee. He is number 14, an infielder, and 30 years old. Casey means vigilant in war in Irish. Had I made this blog two months ago I would have never put Casey into the boys section but 2 months ago my really close neighbors named their son Casey and I love it.
6. Garrett- This name is for Garrett Jones. He is number 46, an outfielder, and 31 years old. Garrett means spear ruler in English. This name has been growing on me lately. I love the nickname Rhett too.

Girls

1. Presley- This name is for Alex Presley. He is number 7, an outfielder, and 27 years old. Presley means from the priest’s field in English. I really love this name for a girl and think it is so cute.
2. Sutton- This name is for Drew Sutton. He is number 17, an outfielder, and 29 years old. Sutton means from the South town in English. I LOVE, LOVE this name! It is like a guilty pleasure name for me.
3. McKenry- This name is for Michael McKenry. He is number 55, a catcher, and 27 years old. I couldn’t find out any information on this name. For me Mckenry is a huge guilty pleasure name. I really like Mc names so I feel like it goes with the other names.

So that is my post. I hope you liked it. Now on to my idea. I have had this idea to interview a baby namer and feature them on my blog. The original plan was to have one once a month but then I realized that I have too many baby namer friends to do it just once a month! So now I will do feature Friday. Every Friday I will randomly pick a baby namer (someone who does videos, blogs, or a baby name lover) and ask them a series of questions and tell people to go to their blog/videos/etc. They will also get a button to leave on their blog/youtube channel/etc. that says they were featured. MLB Series: Philadelphia Phillies

So I know I promised you a blog post a couple of days ago but I was really busy. On Saturday it was my cousin Ella’s 4^th birthday party so I was there all day. Anyway I have the next installment in the MLB series. This time it is the Phillies!!!!! The Phillies are my favorite team. I have been waiting since I started this series to do the Phillies. Picking name for this one was hard because I wanted to use every name. I did pick some great names though so let’s get started.

Boys

1. Hunter- This name is for Hunter Pence. He is number 3, an outfielder and 29 years old. Hunter means one who hunts in English. Hunter is my all-time favorite player on the Phillies. I know I was going to use this name. I have really been liking Hunter lately. I think of a little blonde haired boy named Hunter.
2. Placido- This name is for Placido Polanco. He is number 27, an infielder, and 37 years old. Placido means calm, quiet in Spanish. I think Placido is such a cool name. The only problem I hate with this name is I automatically think of Polanco.
3. Roy- This name is for Roy Halladay. He is number 34, a pitcher, and 35 years old. Roy means red in Scottish. I love, love, love this name! I prefer it as a nickname for Royce, which I love, or another name. Roy Halladay is my second favorite Phillies Player. He was my first but on Hunter is. Actually Roy Halladay’s full name is Harry Leroy "Roy" Halladay III.
4. Laynce- This name is for Laynce Nix. He is number 19, an outfielder, and 32 years old. Laynce means land in English. I prefer the spelling Lance but Laynce is also nice. I also love Nix but on a girl and it would make a great nickname for Nixon.
5. Domonic- This name is for Donomic Brown. He is number 9, an outfielder, and 25 years old. Donomic means Belonging to God in Latin. I am almost positive that Domonic is an alternate spelling of Dominic. I do like both names and live the nicknames Dom or Nick for them.
6. Raul- This name is for Raul Valdes. He is number 46, a pitcher, and 35 years old. Raul means wolf counsel in Spanish. I am really liking Raul. I think it is such a strong name. You could use this name as maybe a middle name to honor a Paul even though they don’t sound the same.

Girls

1. Mayberry- This name is for John Mayberry, Jr. He is number 15, an outfielder, and 29 years old. Mayberry means month of May in English. I think Mayberry could go with all of the other May names. I could never use it because I think of John Mayberry every time I heard it.
2. Luna- This name is for Hector Luna. He is number 29, an infielder, and 32 years old. Luna means the moon in Italian. I like the name Luna. There have been some people on formspring who have been liking the name Luna lately. I think it is such a cute name.

Hey Guys. I’m back! I have finished all of the tabs so they are now up to date. So I have the next team in the MLB Series. This time it is the Oakland A’s.  Let’s get started.

1. Bartolo- This name is for Bartolo Colon. He is number 21, a pitcher, and 39 years old. Bartolo means son of Talmai in Greek. I thought this name was so cute! I really don’t like the nickname Bart though.
2. Jemile- This name is for Jemile Weeks. He is number 19, and infielder, and 25 years old. Jemile means handsome in Arabic. This is a cool name. You could call him Miles for short.
3. Pedro- This name is for Pedro Figueroa. He is number 65, a pitcher, and 27 years old. Pedro means rock in Spanish. I like Pedro. It is such a cute name.
4. Cliff- This name is for Cliff Pennington. He is number 2, an infielder, and 28 years old. Cliff means from the cliff ford in English. I have really been liking Cliff lately.
5. Seth- This name is for Seth Smith. He is number 5, an outfielder, and 30 years old. Seth means appointed in Hebrew. I like Seth but as a middle name.
6. Norris- This name is for Derek Norris. He is number 36, a catcher, and 23 years old. Norris means from the north in English. Norris is such a cool name but I don’t think it would be good on a little boy.

Hey guys. So I have another blog post in the MLB series. This time it is the New York Yankees. So let’s get started.

3. Phil- This name is for Phil Hughes. He is number 65, a pitcher, and 26 years old. Phil means lover of horses in Greek. Phil is alright but it kind of sounds old.
4. Wade- This name is for Cory Wade. He is number 53, a pitcher, and 29 years old. Wade means traveller in English.
