Winter Baby Names

Hey everyone. Today I am going to blog about baby names to do with winter.
Girls
  1. Neve- A Latin name that means snow. The first thing I think of when I think of winter is snow. To me Neve is a cute short name. It would make a nice middle name or a cute first name.
  2. Eira- A Welsh name that means snow. Another name that means snow and is short and sweet. I don’t think many people will like this name because it is a little different. I think it is cute.
  3. Blanca- A Spanish name that means white. When I think of winter I think of white. Blanca is a cute unusual name. it is not my favorite but I still like it.
  4. Fiona- A Scottish name that means white, fair. I love the name Fiona. When I hear the name I think of Shriek but it is still a cute name. I have heard of a girl named Fiona and her twin sister’s name was Caitlin.
  5. Braith- A Welsh name that means black and white. The first time I hear of this name was when I was looking up names for this list and though it was so cute. It sounds so much like Faith. I just love the name.
  6. Eirwyn- A Welsh name that means white as snow. This name is just perfect for winter. It has snow and white in its meaning. It is a little different but I like that it ends in wyn.
  7. Livana- A Hebrew name that means white. I but this name in another list but I had to put it in this list because I liked it so much. It is so girly and cute.
  8. Wynn- A Welsh name that means fair, white, blessed. I love this name on a girl. I also love the meaning because winter is such a blessed season because of Christmas. I not sure if I like the name with or without an e at the end.
  9. Winter- An American name that means The Season. I couldn’t do a winter list without Winter as a name. I not the biggest fan of a baby being named Winter but it is still cute.
  10. Winterlynn- An American name that means pretty winter. I like Winterlynn because it is different but still girly and cute. I think that if you like Winter but don’t think it is girl enough you could use Winterlynn.

Boys
  1. Finnian- An Irish name that means white. I love this name. I think it is a great alternative to the name Finley, which has slowly become a girl’s name.
  2. Finnegan- AN Irish name that means fair, white. Another one of my favorite boy names. I like this one a little better than Finnian but I still like them both.
  3. Frost- An English name that means the freezing of winter. I think Frost is a little out there but can still be used. I would never use it though.
  4. Jack- An English name that means Diminutive Form Of John Or Jackson. I put Jack on the list because of Jack Frost. I have a cousin named Jack and he is the cutest little boy in the world.
  5. Vail- An English name that means dweller in the valley. Vail is the name of a popular ski resort in Colorado. It is a nice name. If I were to use it I would use it as a middle name.
  6. Galen- A Greek name that means Clam. I put this name on the list because to me winter is a clam season. It is a little different but still usable.
  7. Cyan- An American name that means light blue-green. Blue and green are both colors of winter so Cyan fits nicely with the list. I like the name but I kind of like it better with a k instead of a c.
  8. Storm- An American name that means a storm. I put this name on the list because winter can be very stormy. Storm is a great name for a boy. I really like it.
  9. Cadewyn- A Welsh name that means white battle. I really like this name. This is the first time I have heard of the name. This name really fits into the list because it uses white and battle and everyone knows winter can be a battle. It can be an alternative to the name Caden.
  10.  Lavan- A Hebrew name that means white. I think this name is a little different. It’s on the short side and could be a great middle name. You could use the nickname Van, which I think is so cute.

I hope you like this list. It was fun making it. Bye for now.
