Sibling Names: Jack and Ashley

Jack and Ashley are both family names for me. I have a cousin named Jack and he is one of 7: Erin, Caitlin, Megan, Michael, Cullen, Jack, and Cecelia! Ashley is my middle name and I knew so many Ashley's growing up. I guess that's what happens when you are born in the 90s.

Sibling Names: George and Violet

Sundays use to be one of my least favorite days. Everyone knows that Sunday night feeling of the impending Monday and week ahead. Now that I am doing the Real Life Sibling Sets every Sunday is just so much better. I really enjoyed the comments from the weeks of George and Violet. One person wrote the longest, sweetest comment about her family history of the George's in her life. You will also notice that one of the siblings in the Violet category overlaps with the George category (would you call them categories?) and now I didn't plan to have these two names in the same blog posts!

Instagram Name Spottings {Vol 2}

I did my very first Instagram name spotting last month and thought I would do a Vol 2 today. I am always on the lookout for new names and throughout the month I make a collection for you guys. Here are some of the cool names I've found.

Girls

Zuleykah Leilani: I'm not exactly sure how to pronounce this name but my guess would be zoo-lay-kah
Grey Delphine: A very modern first name paired with a classical middle
Alvah: This reminds me of Alvin and Ava.
Revelynne Hope: I've never heard of this name before but Rev is pretty cute.
Sauntina: Another name I'm not sure how to pronounce but it still looks very pretty.
Aviana Nayeli: Aviana is goregous and Nayeli is cool. I love both names together.

Boys

Ackley Raymond: Ackley is such an unique name. Fits well with other -lee names.
Ashford Drake: I really like this new spin on Asher.
Ransom Alan: Such a cool name! And brave parents too.

Siblings/Multiples

Laylah Angeleigh, Mylah Antoinette, and Bria Adaleigh: I noticed that this mom likes y's and leigh. I think the names fit nicely together.
Cherish Grace and Liam David (twins): The only reason this name is on the list is because of Cherish. It's so different!
Hayden Irene and Bennett Sidney (twins): Mom likes unisex names and classical names.
Brody Easton, Brixley Ella, and Brevyn Elliott (b): A set of siblings with some pretty different names. I wonder what they would name a mother baby?
Laikyn Cree (g) and Lennyn Kate: The names match nicely. I just wish they were spelled a little differently.
Ellerie (g) and twins Aven (g) and Asher: These are some pretty cool names. I like Ellerie and Aven together but I wish Asher was a little bit more unique.
Copelin (b), Wells Kai, and Seve (pronounced Sevy): A set of brother and these parents really know how to name them!
Sloane Emerson, Briggs and Rhodes Evelyn: I was able to find all there middle names except for the little boy :(

Lucia, Carina, Isabetta and Adelina

Rob Mariano, a Survivor alum, just recently welcomed his forth daughter. The sibling set is just so cute and I love all of there names. You might too.

All Four Girls

Lucia Rose
Lucia is Rob and wife Amber's first daughter. I think Lucia is so precious. It has a very cute and grand feel to it. Lucy is one of my favorite nickname and would work great for Lucia. Although I'm not sure if they use Lucy as a nickname. Rose is a little too filtered for me but with Lucia is is okay. The combo as a whole feels pretty and girly feel.

Carina Rose
Carina is the second daughter and yes she has the same middle name as Lucia. You will notice a pattern with the middle names. Carina is a very pretty name. It's not very popular but I would love to see it rise in popularity. More Carina's need to be running around. I also like the spelling Karina but I feel like the C spelling fits the sibset better.

Isabetta Rose
The third daughter to Rob and Amber is Isabetta. Isabetta is like a play on the very popular name Isabella. I much prefer Isabetta for a few reasons. Besides it being less popular, it has the nicknames Isa, Betty, Etta, Betta, and Etty. Etta is one of my favorite nicknames for a girl and Isabetta has that. You could also use it to honor a Elizabeth.

Adelina Rose
Adelina is the little girl that Rob and Amber just welcomed. I really liked the name Adelina as well. I know Adelyn and Addison are both popular names but Adelina really isn't. The nickname Addy is cute but I don't like it all that much. It sounds a little overused and to me it doesn't stand up to the name Adelina.


All together the names are beautiful and flow nicely together. I do wish they had different middle names. Using Rose so many times can get really boring.

Erica's Twins Have Names!

Hey guys! If you can remember back at the end of November I made this post for a friend of mine named Erica. She is pregnant with twins and ask my help in coming up with names for girl/girl/, boy/boy. and boy/girl. After emailing back and forth for about a month, we finally came up with names! Here are the names:

Update On Baby #5 For Sammi

Hey guys! So I had off again today because of Hurricane Sandy but I am back in school tomorrow. For today’s post I have an update on Baby #5 for Sammi and Brandon. You may remember back in the beginning of the month I made this post about Sammi and what names they had liked. Well they have picked a girl name and a boy name! It took a lot of emailing back and forth but it was all worth it in the end. So what are they names you ask? Drumroll please……..

Jillian Abigail!

Jonah Samuel!

I think they are both wonderful names. In about 2 hours they are finding out the gender. If I had to make a guess as to what it will be I will say a girl. What Would You Name Sammi's 5th Child?

Hey guys! So today’s post is going to be a little different. I got an email a couple of days ago from a mom, named Sammi, who is looking for help in naming her 5^th child. The names of her other children are:

• Caroline Paige “Carly”

• Eliana Meredith “Ellie”

She doesn’t want to any names beginning with L, C, B, or E. and the only name that her and her husband have talked about is Jonah. She isn’t very far along and doesn’t know the gender so I have come up with a list of names for both girls and boys.
